Responsibilities

This position has the overall responsibility for direct supervision and leadership of the Electronic Funds Transfer Staff. Specific responsibilities include providing guidance and direction to EFT team members with their daily workflow to ensure department deadlines are achieved. Responsible for ensuring that the team operates in compliance with all Federal Reserve Bank and the NACHA Operating Rules and Regulations as it pertains to ACH and Wire Transfer responsibilities. In addition, this position requires a flexible working schedule. The applicant must be able to work anytime between the hours of 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. with occasional overtime required.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or related discipline (or actively in pursuit of) and a minimum two years supervisory experience within the financial industry, or
  2. Has achieved the Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) Certification.

ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE:

  • Knowledge of bank/credit union operations, policies, procedures and services is preferred. 
  • Must have the ability to prioritize and use mature judgment in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Eager to learn, enthusiastic, motivated and a self-starter. 
  • Must be an analytical thinker and problem solver as well as possess and display effective coaching and communication skills.  
  • Must have aptitude to convey thoughts and information across multiple business units including senior management. 
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment or independently, manage multiple priorities, and work under deadlines with minimal supervision. 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Ability to move freely (standing, stooping, walking, bending, pushing and pulling) and lift up to a maximum of twenty-five (25) pounds without assistance.
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and type English.
  • Must be able to hear and use a telephone. 
  • Use of computer requires repetitive key strokes.
