The Business Solutions Specialist is responsible for business deposits, loans, and accompanying business services to include Bill Pay and Online Banking. Responsible for preparing loan documents, booking business loans and annual review monitoring.  Works closely with the Commercial Loan Officers and Business Relationship Managers for loan package submittals and document collection. Works with the Business Solutions Operations Manager, AVP Commercial Loan Underwriter and VP of Business Solutions on all business functions regarding business services. Cross-sells Credit Union products and services.  Supports a sales and service environment that is focused on the credit union’s mission, vision and core values. Acts as a credit union subject matter expert (SME) regarding Business Solutions offerings. 


  • High School diploma or equivalent required; college degree from an accredited college or university is preferred. 
  • 2 years commercial loan processing, documentation or closing experience preferred. 
  • Experience helpful in any combination of the following: preparing, reviewing and booking commercial loans, general ledger ticket preparation for new loans/advances/paydowns, prepare and process lien satisfactions for paid off loans.
  • Experience with commercial deposits and an understanding of treasury/cash management services.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Access and database systems. 
  • Ability to handle various projects and priorities simultaneously. 
  • Must be able to lift 20 pounds. 
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods and wear a headset. 
  • Ability to prioritize and use mature judgment in a fast-paced environment.
