    The Agile Product Owner (APO) has the primary role to own and manage the Product Backlog, serve as the voice of the customer and work on a highly collaborative, cross-functional Scrum team required to support the credit union’s Vision. The APO is responsible for driving the development of highest value capabilities for all Grow products. Through the Agile methodology, closely collaborates with business product sponsors, business analysts, developers, designers, and other stakeholders such as business, legal/compliance, security, and operations to ensure that the detailed designs and features delivered by the Scrum meet the needs of all stakeholders.  The APO is self-motivated, able to adjust to changing circumstances quickly and professionally and diplomatic with strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.





    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university required.
    • 5 years documented success in project management required.
    • One or more related certifications such as Project Management Professions (PMP), PMI- Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Product Owner (CPO) required.
    • Computer knowledge utilizing Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint required.
    • 3 years’ experience working on Scrum and/or Kanban teams preferred.
    • 3 years’ experience managing and coaching teams preferred.
    • Must be highly organized, methodical and detail oriented; relentless follow up and results oriented.
    • Comfortable driving teams and management to decisions; willing to push-back for information and answers.
    • Must demonstrate superior communication/interpersonal skills and outstanding organizational skills, exercise exceptional independent judgment, effectively prioritize work, and maintain strict confidentiality.


    • Ability to move freely (standing, stooping, walking, bending, pushing and pulling) and lift up to a maximum of twenty-five (25) pounds without assistance.
    • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
    • Must be able to read, write, speak and type English.
    • Use of computer requires repetitive key strokes.
