Responsibilities

The Branch Supervisor is responsible for supervising, mentoring, motivating, and coaching employees through day to day activities ultimately playing an integral role in the branch achievement of organizational goals. The Branch Supervisor position focuses on solidifying member relationships and retention through improved member service. Reports directly to the Area Manager/Market Manager. Focuses on solidifying member relationships and retention through transaction accuracy, cross selling and exceptional member service.   Manage branch in the absence of the Area Manager/Market Manager. Partners with Area Manager/Market Manager to ensure community presence, increase membership and retention, and promote the Grow brand.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.  
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills; knowledge of bank/credit union lending and operations, products, policies, procedures and services is preferred.
  • Ability to function in a multi-task universal environment; a minimum of one year of supervisory experience required or demonstrated leadership ability within the organization.
  • Demonstrated skills in sales, sales management, coaching and problem solving.
  • This position requires a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Proven ability to identify and evaluate issues and reach sound conclusions or decisions based on fact and in a proactive manner. Must meet the necessary qualifications to obtain NMLS and CL/CD licensing.  
  • Must be available to work Saturday hours when required.
  • Must be able to attend credit union/business related functions during business hours and occasionally, after hours.
  • Must be able to see and hear, and write and speak English; bi-lingual helpful.
  • Must possess Windows-based PC skills and working knowledge of office equipment.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds with the assistance of a rolling cart and/or another employee and stand on feet for extended periods of time.
