Responsibilities

JOB SUMMARY: Reporting directly to the Regional Sales Manager / Indirect Lending, Dealership Account Managers are responsible for the establishment, maintenance, training and management of the dealer network which includes monitoring ongoing dealer performance such as production, application quality, delinquency, losses, profitability, etc. Submits market reports to Regional Sales Manager / Indirect Lending regarding his/her area of responsibility in a timely manner. Interfacing directly with all dealer personnel; training dealers on all aspects of our indirect lending program; informing dealers of policy, procedures and price changes; making recommendations for pricing/program changes. Acting as a liaison between dealership partners and all Grow departments/branches to ensure superior sales and service standards. Is responsible for meeting or exceeding key performance indicators (KPIs) established by management.

Qualifications

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Business from an accredited college or university is preferred.
  • 2+ years of successful business to business Account Management experience including cold calling, prospecting leads and training skills.
  • A minimum of one year working knowledge of the credit and finance industry is required.
  • 2-5+ years’ experience specialized in indirect lending either in dealer finance, underwriting, sales or an equivalent combination.
  • Must have excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Must possess above average time management, problem solving and prioritization skills.
  • Employee will be assigned a corporate vehicle and will be required to travel within the credit union’s area of presence greater than 80% of the work week; overnight travel is required. Must possess a valid driver’s license and insurance.
  • Working knowledge of Windows-based PC products, DealerTrack, RouteOne and AutoCount. General office equipment knowledge is required and must be able to type repetitive keystrokes.
  • Must be able to see and hear, and write and speak English; bi-lingual helpful. Must be able to lift 25-pound boxes and sit or stand for extended period of time.
  • Ability to work a flexible work schedule that may include evenings and/or weekends (Saturday/Sunday) hours required.
